31st Dec 05 Hi Andrew Just a note to say thanks for the play today with the Dtuk box on my Vectra c 1.9 CDTi. This engine is fairly impressive as standard, but with the Dtuk box on it was a totally different car. I could honestly compare the feel to that of my previous car, a Vectra B 2.6 V6 GSi. The slight turbo lag at the low end revs had gone, all the way through the gears the car just kept on delivering power. The delivery of power is a lot smoother as well. This is the gadget for me. I will be in touch shortly to arrange payment and fitting. At a steady 50mph in third gear, I floored the accelerator and the car just ‘took off’, no other term of phrase for it. Awesome! As you know, it’s been on about a fortnight now and all I’ve done since fitting it, is running around the doors, so to speak. I have looked at the average fuel consumption figure today on the computer and it is saying 42.9mpg. Now that used to be round about 35 to 38 around town, so I am well impressed. I am still driving around like a 17 year old who’s just passed his test, and I have to admit, there have been a few surprised aforementioned types after being left for dead in their Corsas and Saxos by a mere diesel.
