14th May 11 Hi Andrew I just wanted to give u some feedback on your crdt box, as u know I have been running it for about 6 months now, and it has been awesome. I have even tried a remap for 3 weeks, and it can’t compare to the smoothness of tune box. The remap only made 3wkw more than the tunebox and about 60nm extra, but it was a nightmare , as the torque came in way too early. The car even threw a few dtc etc, shadowed fault codes. Your product is the best that there is for these new age diesel engines, and less risk of having a new cars warrentee jepodised. When I serviced 2 months ago. I just removed it, and there was no traces. I have a bavtec cable, and no error codes, not even shadowed codes. At the moment my car is at bmw to have it flashed back to stock, and once I get back the tune box goes back in. In any case I put my mind at ease knowing I’m not missing out on remap. The whole process to remap on these new protected ecu , is complex as they nde to interigate into the box via boot mode etc. Your product is far much superior to any remap, and is value for money becos the customer is also getting a tangable item, which he can see and touch, and remove as and when needed.
