When I purchased my Audi A1, I was looking at getting more power out of it and came across DTUK. I wanted something which wouldn’t void my warranty but still be able to give me a BHP increase. DTUK tuning box did exactly that. The tuning box is plug and play where you connect to the boost and common rail of the car, the tuning box then sends signals which increase the power. not only this but the tuning box has 3 different maps. When it comes to fitting DTUK staff are very helpful should you need any assistance. Adam who helped me install mine was very helpful while I sent him photos of my engine and he was able to assist me in where to route the cables and also to make sure that it was installed correctly. Andrew who is the owner of DTUK was also very helpful when it came to ordering and helped me with any questions I had before I ordered. You choose what map suits your driving style and then adjust the maps even more with the +3 to -3 adjustments. I run my tuning box on 1+3 which I fell give me a lot more low-end torque as well as more power throughout the range. If you feel the map that you are using isn’t what you are looking for you can change it to one of the three maps available. Recently my cars air conditioning had become faulty so it needed a trip to Audi. Prior to me taking the car in, I removed the tuning box, put the blank plug on the end and the car was all ready to go in. Audi didn’t say anything about the car being mapped as when you get an ECU flashed, it throws up a T1 error on the computer which shows that the ECU has been mapped. When the car was back with me it took me 1 min to put the tuning box back into the car and I was up and running again. I have also purchased a pedal box from DTUK which increases the pedal response of the car. Both this and the tuning box together makes a perfect tuning solution. I run my pedal box on Sports Plus +3 which gives me the fastest pedal response possible. Yet again there are 3 different settings to play with so there will deffo be one which suits you. Overall I am very happy with the tuning box, pedal box and customer service provided from DTUK and would definitely recommend them to a friend. If you are in need of a tuning solution which is warranty safe, can transfer to another vehicle with a software update and new looms then the DTUK tuning box is for you.
