17th Jun 10 hi andrew its me Shane ok, well i had a vectra 120cdti, i installed the DTUK Green box at 19k and the car went back at 107k. give or take a few thousand in hire cars during servicing etc, its fair to say ive done in excess of 80k with the box on. the only problem during that was the water pump failing but thats nothing to do with the box. fuel economy saw an increase of 2-4mpg with the box when driving normally or even with my heavy right foot only a slight decrease of between 1-2mpg. those are actual figures from doing the calculations at fill up, not using the computer. almost all of my mileage is long journeys for work on motorways and dual carriageways. i also did the following average times armed with my stopwatch. 0-60 through 30-70 through 30-50 3rd gear 30-50 4th gear 50-70 5th gear measured 120 cdti (standard) 9.85 9.40 4.17 6.79 9.09 120 cdti with box at 11 8.44 -1.41 7.40 -2.00 3.50 -0.67 5.91 -0.88 7.76 -1.33 those are pretty impressive i reckon. my dad has also got a DTUK box on his 150 vectra. im not sure how many miles he has done, but he has had no problems at all and sees an actual calculated mpg increase of 2-4mpg. on our recommendation my uncle got a green box from you for his 150 signum and again has had no problems and similar gains in mpg.
